Corazon Aquino, the country’s first woman president, died yesterday at 3:18 a.m. at the Makati Medical Center after an 18-month battle with colon cancer. She was 76.

She had fulfilled her mission to lead her people from the oppression of a dictatorship toward democracy. And, once there, she never let her guard down. The world honored – and continues to honor – her for this.

“Our mother peacefully passed away at 3:18 a.m., Aug. 1, 2009, of cardio-respiratory arrest,” Mrs. Aquino’s only son Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III announced from the
lobby of the Makati Medical Center around 6 a.m. yesterday. Even as Senator Aquino spoke, thousands of yellow ribbons fluttered on the streets around the hospital, the avenues winding through the metropolis, the thoroughfares crisscrossing country. Yellow was the color of protest against the Marcos dictatorship and Mrs. Aquino ascended to the presidency clad in fighting yellow.

The girl who would be president

According to Mrs. Aquino’s niece Marisse Reyes McMurray, “My grandfather’s family would always associate the year of Cory’s birth, 1933, with some very happy memories. The blessing of their new house, which was finally built from scratch on Agno Street, coincided with her baptism.”

When she grew up, Cory was transformed from the shy child to the school achiever. “Unnoticed as the sixth child (of Jose and Demetria Cojuangco), Auntie Cory’s mettle was strengthened by the furnace of war. Her oldest living brother Pedro had always been the star, the perennial honor student. During the war years, Auntie Cory had found a prescription for attention: ‘To be noticed in a large family, you would have to excel in your studies.’”

She majored in Math and French at the College of Mount Saint Vincent in New York, but her law studies were cut short when she met the dashing Ninoy Aquino. On their wedding day in 1954, a dove from the ceremonial bell at the reception landed on Cory’s head, and people saw it as a good sign that Ninoy would be president.

Mrs. Aquino would later confide that no one knew then the dove landing on her head would mean she, not Ninoy, would be president someday.

I have blogged about Sandara Park. Pumunta siya korya para dun mag start ng showbiz career niya. Her acting career, and how she was trained under JYP. etc. pota bakit siya nalang lagi blog ko. kainis baka maging fan ako nito. Haha

Well ayun member na siya ng isang 4-member girl group na 2NE1 under ng YG Entertainment. They are supposed to be the female counterpart of the famous boy group Big Bang. Their first single "Lollipop" was released April 2, 2009 with the help of their male counterpart, Big Bang. And also the track is part of the LG Cyon mobile phone campaign of the same name.

The commercial was released I think last week and I didn't blogged about it I thought it would be a waste of time, mas okay siguro kung si Kim Ch** nalang ang iblog ko di ba? Pero naisip ko rin she's so over-rated that hoe. Moving on, about Sandara's new group in korya marami na rin ang ngblogged about it, marami ang mga negative comments about their group. Yess excited sila e nuh hindi pa nga ngdedebut they already bashed the group. Mga inutil. Pero meron din ang na-excite and they were all hyped like some retarded asses.

Anyway I agree most of them betches said, kasi nga naman the track didn't sound like original and in addition wala masyado exposure yung girls. It's like BIG BANG featuring 2NE1 and not the other way around. Chorus and ilang verse lang kinanta ata nila, wow ah talented sa back-up. kewl. Pero point dun hindi pa naman nila debut yun so it's early to judge their potentialities.

Kay Dara ulit tayo. Yess DARA daw ba? punyeta. Hindi ko lam kung bakit pag nakikita ko siya naiinis ako, well actually I feel somewhat good for her for being able to debut in korya, mas sisikat siya dun. Kainis lang talaga siguro yung ngiti niya kaasar, same expression kahit saan mo tignan. ANNOYING. And the hairdoo WTFTW? Grabe ah pwede mo na ipangwalis. hahabulin siya ng mga alikabok, kalat at basura. Haha

A friend of mine told me about this Lucky me's new tv commercial sabi nila DBSK daw yung iba Big Bang daw. Duh. and when I first saw it I was like what the f?! @sdf#4% ay pota.

Talk about shit. I find it a bit funny and annoying at the same time. Haay naku ano ba naisip ng Lucky me sa tvc na ito? Kainis din yung acting nung fugly girl sooobrang O.A. Hate it and yung boy group aaacck. *barf* Yess very unique, from Big Bang to DBSK then to Rain. Punyeta. Halatang puro kopya lang yung mga scenes nila, the running part its Big Bang's and in the dancing part I recall Rain's MV, Rainism and DBSK's Mirotic.

So yeah akala ko at first mga jologista sila, mga trying hard wannabe korean shits. Well surprise! real koreans pala sila! Haha. ookay. Stress stres stress. Nasabi ko na bang stress? Haays. What's more annoying is Sandara Park's acting. Duh. Hindi naman ako fan, hindi rin ako hater. Pero eto masasabi ko, ay pota. ahaha. Hindi ko intensyon na manira, gusto ko lang naman ishare yung nalalaman ko kahit na basura pa.

Well, most of you ay kilala na si Sandara Park, yeah that correan girl from SCQ like from year whatever. Nawala siya, at nung pagbalik niya ayun may replacement na siya, si Kim Chiu that effin hoe. Haha. End of her happy days in the lime light.

So moving on, alam nio naman kung anong klaseng artist si Ms. Park diba, In or Out, D Lucky Ones (FTW?), Grabeeh ang talented nia nuh? Very convincing acting. Well duh. No not really, I'd rather bite my toenails or be sporked to death. Hahaha. Ayun basta nabalitaan ko na Ms. Park will have a come back, ayun trainee siya sa isang entertainment company sa Korea namely YG entertainment.

I heard after ilang auditions for dramas in Korea, 0 out of 100 ata yun. So sinong LOSER? Haha. But wait there's more, Recently natanggap siya sa isang drama sa MBC, given a minor role in The Rerturn of Iljimae, as Rie. In my opinion, ang hopeless ng acting nia, lagi nalang iisa ang facial expression nia, malungkot, gulat, takot, natatae. what the f?! effort naman please? Idol ata nia si Kristetay eh. Hindi naman ito ang unang remake na naganap, meron din adaptation ang Korean drama na "My Girl" at "My Lovely Samsoon", well hindi ko alam kung successful siya to the extent pero masasabi ko lang ay, the drama was butchered. Yess, naiba ang storya iha, bakit ganun? Lalo na yung adaptation ng Kim Sam Soon, Diyos ko sumakit ulo ko! My Girl, Kim Chiu. Ah nvm.. Haha

Ang hiling ko lang eh sana man lang maayos ang plot. Baka naman masyadong humaba yan, nabuntis na ang bidang babae at nalaman yang ang manugang niya ang pumatay sa kanyang mga magulang? WTF! At maisipan pa nilang gumawa ng part 2 tapos part 3 and The Sequel. Huwag naman sana umabot sa ganyan diba? Wow ha another headache. Lagi nalang drama ang kinalalabasan ng mga telenovela dito. Ano pa ba ang bago?

Ang casts. Wala naman ako reklamo sa kanila kung sino man sila basta matitino itsura, pero paunawa sana huwag na si Kim Chiu, utang na loob magsawa naman kayo mga punyeta! Huwag rin si Sarah Geronimo, no offense ah magaling siya kumanta pero sa acting. Ah eh iha kanta ka nalang ah! Haha.

May tiwala ako sa ABS-CBN na magagwa nila itong Pinoy F4 ng maayos, sana lang talaga. Pero iniisip ko palang, eeew. pota kadiri talaga. Oh my.
